Chioma Ajunwa-Oparah, MON, OLY
Chioma Ajunwa-Oparah is a Nigerian former track and field athlete and footballer most famous for her historic achievement at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, where she became the first Nigerian and African to win an Olympic gold medal, and the first black African woman to win an Olympic gold medal in a field event (the women’s long jump).
Following her Olympic gold medal at Atlanta ’96, Ajunwa was given a national award – Member of the Order of Niger (MON). She holds the unique distinction of being the only woman to compete at both the FIFA Women’s World Cup as a footballer (in 1991) and the Olympics as a track and field athlete. Following her athletic career, Ajunwa-Opara continued to serve as a member of the Nigerian Police Force, rising to the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police, and later launched the Chioma Ajunwa Foundation to support young Nigerian athletes.
Dr Tunde Adelakun
Director of International Affairs and Technical Development
Dr Tunde Adelakun (Dr Tee as he is fondly called) is presently the Head Scout and Assistant Manager of the Benin Republic national football team, the Global President of Rotary Sport International, the Chairman of Nigeria Diaspora Sports Council.
He is also the Head Coach and Principal of Triple A Football, a one-to-one personalised coaching service for football players at all levels to move them to the next level up.
Born and raised in England, Dr Tee is based in Basingstoke Hampshire and combines all his roles together with being a public speaker, a moderator and a mental wellbeing coach.
He is also the President of the African Football Scouts and Coaches Association as well as, in recognition of his past life as a veteran sports journalist and publisher who worked with the likes of BBC and CNN and SkySports covering African football, is also the President of the African Football Journalists Association.
Dr Tee holds a United Nations Educational Programme PhD in International Relations and is passionate about giving a chance to the youth of this world, in their quest to be a better version of themselves, through the power of sport.
Dr Tee brings a wealth of experience, contact and passionate desire into Talent Gold and is always willing to serve and assist.
David Badejo, Director of Events, Promotions and Implementation.
David Badejo is an Irish national, born in May 1981, and is involved in sports management and promotion.
Current Role: He serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Hourglass Sport Promotions UK Limited, a role he has held since January 2020. The company’s registered address is in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, England.
Background and Education: He has a diverse educational background related to sports and health, including:
A Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management & Coaching from Technological University Dublin (2015-2018).
A FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine (2020-2021).
A Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health Nursing from Sheffield Hallam University (2020-2023).
Volunteer Experience: He volunteered as a Coordinator for Special Olympics Ireland for four years (April 2016 – April 2020).
Certifications: He holds multiple coaching and safety certifications from the Football Association of Ireland and Sport Ireland, including FA Talent Identification and Safeguarding Child Welfare & Protection.
Dawn Munroe – Director in Charge of Community Affairs
Dawn Munroe is an experienced leader with extensive expertise across the domestic abuse sector, community services, and social work. With a career dedicated to empowering individuals and strengthening communities, Dawn brings a culturally competent, trauma-informed approach to every aspect of her work.
Dawn has managed a wide range of community initiatives, including leading a community centre and its full portfolio of youth and outreach services. Her commitment to young people and community development has helped create safe, inclusive environments where growth and positive change can flourish.
Within the domestic abuse sector, Dawn has held responsibility for managing three specialist services, leading multidisciplinary teams, and driving service innovation. She has served as a team leader, mentor, and advocate for women, providing guidance, support, and representation to ensure their voices are heard and their needs are met.
A passionate advocate for equity and wellbeing, Dawn is recognised for her ability to build trust, inspire others, and develop services that are responsive to the cultural and social realities of the communities they serve. Her leadership is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and a deep commitment to social justice.
Louise Ngozi Ogboru
Louise Ngozi Ogboru is a highly respected and accomplished, multi-faceted consultant. Having begun her career more than 20 years ago, with her qualifications in in finance, Computing, as an Information Technology Systems expert and she has participated in key government initiatives in the United Kingdom implementing ICT infrastructures. She is an ardent advocate of Emerging disruptive technologies with a diploma in digital currency to garner knowledge in digital currency and Blockchain. Louise has utilised the extensive list of qualifications to establish a long standing career as a Consultant to both the UK public and private sectors and more recently Africa consulted for government agencies in the West African region.
Focus areas are fund raising, renewable energy, Angel acceleration Impact investing Fintech, Defi Blockchain IOT, AI Agile project development Digital Transformation, real estate, Energy and oil & gas projects.
She has received a myriad of qualifications and certifications in the fields of IT, Renewable Energy and Real Estate, Project Management and a degree in Oil & Gas Management.
She is a founder and co founder of companies. She is passionate about helping founders and entrepreneurs actualise their vision and goal ultimately to increase capital inflow into the wider economy.
Olusoji Fasuba is the CTO
Olusoji Fasuba is the CTO and Performance Director at Talent Gold Plus, responsible for maintaining and strengthening the organisation’s digital platform with a focus on reliability, cybersecurity, and continuous improvement. With a professional cybersecurity background, he supports the protection of athlete and investor data, strengthens privacy controls, and helps ensure the platform aligns with GDPR and safeguarding expectations.
An Olympic sprinter and experienced high performance athlete, Olusoji brings elite sporting insight into the performance framework of Talent Gold Plus. He supports athlete development through disciplined planning, goal setting, competition readiness, and measurable progress tracking. His combined experience in Olympic sport and cybersecurity leadership helps Talent Gold Plus deliver a trusted digital platform and an athlete focused culture built on excellence, wellbeing, and long term success.
